Unfortunately, I have no personal connection to the military (not my choice) so I didn't become interested in NCIS until I stayed home to stay safe because of the pandemic. I knew about the drama surrounding Pauley Perrette before developing an interest in recording and watching NCIS episodes. I really like Abby Sciuto. She was much more of a daughter to Gibbs than Ziva. Abby has a look that I've always liked and she is completely devoted to Gibbs and his team. No TV network broadcasts NCIS seasons and episodes in order so it got confusing but I really liked the first two seasons with the quick addition of Caitlyn Todd to the team. The way she was written off the show at the end of season 2 angered me a great deal and I should have stopped watching the show altogether. Just thinking about how often DiNozzo was a jerk and yet stayed on the team for over a decade angers me a great deal too. It was a huge relief when he finally left. Bishop's exit was a negative but Knight essentially replacing her was a saving grace. I was glad Gibbs finally left. What hasn't he done anyway? I like the team the way it is now in season 19. Parker is cool. It's weird seeing Mark Harmon in the opening credits and voicing the message at the end, "stay tuned for scenes from our next episode" but CBS is butchering segues into commercial breaks (all shows) and cut off Harmon's line at the end of the episode on March 14, 2022. It is brutal.
