A pure waste of time, barely a one time watch

Series: Eternally Confused and Eager for Love Season: 1 Episodes: 8 Duration: 20 minutes long IMDb: 6.4/10

"Eternally Confused and Eager for Love" is a romantic comedy web series written & directed by Rahul Nair. It was released yesterday on Netflix, co-produced by Zoya Akhtar & Farhan Akhtar. Despite the presence of such creative heads, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Vihaan Samat are on lead roles.

The story revolves around a 25-year-old boy who lives in Mumbai with his parents, is going through a quarter-life crisis. At some point, he wants to be in a stable relationship that will lead to a happy marriage. On the other side, he becomes desperate to get laid. He's introvert in nature and simultaneously he talks with his imaginary friend, Wiz considered as the voice inside his head.

This series had a lot of chances to shine but failed miserably. It feels like I am watching an American high school drama. I couldn't connect myself with any character at all. If they can portray the character of Vihaan as a high-school boy then the whole story could have been meaningful and engaging. In these 8 episodes, you will only see people meeting in cafeterias, house parties & clubs. The sole attraction of the series is The most attractive part of the series is an amazing voice performance by Jim Sarbh.

It left the audience at a cliffhanger. So, there might be another season coming. I won't suggest this series to anyone because I didn't find it relatable. To my opinion, "Eternally Confused and Eager for Love" is barely a one-time watch series.
