I understand the story line but I don't understand it! I don't know of any sane parent, PERSON, that would entertain Mary after learning her secret, by seeing it first hand! He, Gary, has literally invited the beast to dinner with his daughter sitting at the table. I'm trying to simply enjoy the show but my logical brain can't with this one.
