She was wrong, it was a Scotsman who died and his father was asked if his son's body could be used for a top secret mission that would help to turn the tide of the war. The name of the movie was "The Man Who Never Was" with Clifton Webb. A life was built for him and the Germans believed this and moved troops to another location because of the top secret papers he was carrying and the Allies were able to attack without resistance. Great movie.
