Man I was riding such a high after episodes 1-4 only to realize I had to wait another week to start watching again. I didn't know a show with this much potential could suffer to put not one but TWO filler episodes. At first, I couldn't figure it out. Why did episode 4 and 5 feel so dark and dull. How did we go from a wolf of Wall Street vibe to Selma? Don't get me wrong, I know it wasn't all peaches and sunshine for Magic coming into the league, being a freshman in the new money pool amongst the sharks of the old money pool. But Ms. Hamilton was trying to make a point. And it had neither to do with the Lakers or Basketball.
