Episode 6 "Memento Mori" from "HBO's" "Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty" series was a drama filled episode that was filled with tense filled and turning like moments. With head coach Jack McKinney still on the mend and in recovery his picked assistant former college lit professor Paul Westhead(Jason Segel) takes over the role as head coach during the early part of the Lakers season. Also in this episode we see that star rookie Magic Johnson has become such a popular icon he signs an endorsement deal with a shoe company, and owner Jerry Buss is still getting advice and keeping the franchise afloat. Also seen are celebrities and famous Laker fans Jack Nicholson and Richard Pryor(both portrayed by actors) who make small cameo appearances. Overall another power like star filled episode which helped set up the series for a strong finish as I anxiously await the final 4 episodes.
