" . . . Dog and his dog," intones the narrator of the misnamed MAN'S BEST FRIEND. This brief film perfectly illustrates the Dizzy mob's perennial problem with their Goof mutt. How can a canine think that it's a man? Why would any actual human wench not named "Linda" wed a cur? Would her litters be straight kids, or straight puppies, or mixtures of each? If her spouse cheated on her with one of his own kind, would the wife be justified in using the "B-word"? However, this simpler story shows how it takes one to know one, as the Goof mutt heels, rolls over, shakes and eats doggy biscuits on his OWN command.
