One of those movies that is so bad (in terms of script, acting, and overall production values) that it is almost ... good. Behind this Hallmark wannabe we have Cheryl Ladd as Producer. One of her lines of dialog, "I had my time to shine" may be a reference to her breakout role as a fully-binary self-identifying female player in the historic and unenlightened series "Charlies Angels" (1970). Also features a rare film role for reality-series breakout star Darci Lynn who is almost unrecognizable even among the small ensemble cast. This is the portion of the review where you would expect to hear that, whatever failings there are in the story, the music more than compensates? Well no, not really. The tunes are at best lackluster. Also, defying audience expectations, Darci Lynn will disappoint her fan base by never belting one out.
