. . . the penalty for stealing a man's horse or other mode of transportation is to be dangled at the end of a rope until stone cold dead. This fate seems quite logical, given the fact that a dude's horse, donkey or camel is often the difference between Life and Death as one fights for survival in the wilderness. The egregious Don Duck and his henchman the Goof Mutt are clearly in the boon-docks when they conspire to filch, purloin and steal a dromedary mount from some unseen local gent--not shown here due to this studio's habitual and notoriously cheapskate approach toward its animation projects. Naturally, this sordid story concludes before Don and his Goof are dangled, as Dizzy lives down to its Real Life motto: Crime Pays.
