After the first girl was killed by the shark, the idiot game warden thinks it was a dead shark that killed her right off the bat as opposed to thinking that if one shark was in the lake, maybe it's possible another shark may be in the lake, but no Mr. Game Warden insists it had to have been the dead shark that did the killing. That is early in the movie and once you hear something like that early on, it makes you wonder if you really want to go through with the rest of the movie!
