Firstly, let me say that I was not aware of the fact that this is a sequel. Therefore I shall only judge this movie as a unique entity.
In economics there is the concept of economies of scale: by producing more, you lower the costs. This seems to be the case for this cinematic production. However, it is not just the product of cost reduction, but also of quality reduction, as is illustrated by the lackluster acting, terrible humour and confused editing.
I appreciated the partial setting in the Rhône-Alpes region, though.
The explicit politicisation, however, is not. It is neither thoughtful nor thought-provoking. It's rather an one sided, cliché-oriented representation.
The jokes done with certain dead bodies is disgusting and no funny as intended.
The car scenes are thrilling, though.
All in all, this "passe-temps" is not particularly good.
