Judd apatow made a terrific 3+ hour george carlin documentary that drove me to tears, but then completely ruined it in the last 9 minutes. There's an interjection of a montage of recent political events clearly aimed at making the viewer believe what Carlin's political beliefs he would have had in the last few years. The montage started out SO good and made sense with the views he expressed on stage. Then it devolved into a horrible CNN style "all conservatives are fascists" thing. Just because George Carlin was a liberal doesnt mean he would be a 2022 neo-liberal like the little montage would suggest. It seems like they just took this great man's legacy and abused it as an opportunity to push their political agenda another inch further. I'd be so embarrassed and ashamed of myself if I made this. I hope Judd Apatow feels good that he got his opinions out into the world one more time. The song rolling with the credits wasn't the best choice either :)
