Bones: A Night at the Bones Museum (2009)
Season 5, Episode 5
8/10
Daisy Wick is just too much

This was a really cool episode that brought Bones back to her passion for ancient skeletons. It was so sweet to see Bones and Daisy get all excited about the ancient skeleton and it was a nice reminder to the audience that this was Bones' original passion.

There were two things that kind of ruined this episode for me, preventing me from giving it a 9 or 10. First of all, Bones going out with this Andrew guy. I didn't love his character. I just did not get the vibes that Bones would be into this guy. At this point, I think they just wanted to have a random FBI guy for Bones to have some interest in to postpone her interest in Booth. Second, Daisy Wick. Of all the interns, she is the hardest one for me to watch. It makes me so uncomfortable watching as Bones and the rest of the crew clearly show that they don't like her. She is just so much in all the scenes. I feel like there could have been a better way for them to have a dedicated, enthusiastic, but borderline "teachers pet" type character without going sooo over the top with it. On top of that, her relationship with Sweets makes me dislike him a little bit. I get that they are supposed to be these two quirky people in a cute, awkward relationship. But, watching her call him Lancelot and listening to him growl, not once but TWICE, made me cringe.

The tension at the end though with Bones and Booth was great. It's been a while since I've seen this episode and I definitely thought they were going to kiss. Unfortunately, the rest of the gang had to come in right before their sweet moment together.
