Based entirely upon only the first two episodes but looks to be a cracking show.
McGregor's version of Obi Wan has just the right mix of Prequels/New Hope to be the connective tissue between the two and the casting of young Vivien was a masterstroke.
Enough throwbacks to the movies to quench the thirst of the nerdiest of Star Wars nerds, but also a solid storyline that allows the series to stand stand out on it's own.
Looking forward to the full introduction of Vader over the next four episodes.
Well done all involved - could easily have destroyed one of the Star Wars universes best loved characters (it hasn't - it's given him even more depth).
