This show does a great job of telling the stories of LGBTQIA+ Americans. The celebration of each person's story with a performance in front of their community is really powerful to watch.
I appreciate the show's authenticity with all that goes into putting on a drag show - from hair to makeup to costumes to choreography, each professional's work is given credit - a rarity with most shows.
The show doesn't pretend to solve problems, but rather give voice to each local community for the larger HBO audience.
