TV screenwriters seldom have real talent, and they completely run out of steam as a show progresses past three seasons. In this first episode of the I'll-advised season five, the idiotic writers show their lack of talent in several ways, especially the bit about having someone committed to a mental institution. The nurse refers to this as a "fifty-one fifty". How stupid. 5150 happens to be the California penal code designation meaning someone who is mentally impaired. It only exists in California - not New York where this insipid show is set. But TV show makers and writers truly believe they are the center of the universe and nowhere else matters. This show should have been canceled after season three, but DEFINITELY after the horrendous season four.
