WWE Hell in a Cell (2022 TV Special)
8/10
Cody's ultimate crowning night
6 June 2022
This show had no hype other than it being Cody Vs Seth III

This was far from being one of WWE's greatest night but it was consistently good start to end, well paced ( which was an issue with WWE ppv's for some time)

This may just be the first time I saw a B Show PPV start to end and I didn't even know that it was Hell in a Cell today.

What WWE accomplished today was deliver a decent ppv without major title defenses and also absence of major stars like Reigns, Sasha, Ronda etc. Glad they didn't shoehorn Ronda vs Natalya for the sake of it and stuck to the stuff they have spent at least a month building, makes for a much tighter show.

The high rating is mainly because of the opening match and the main event.

The three women are some of the best performers overall and displayed it in full effect, there is definitely this sort of star like quality to Bianca which is extremely rare, something about her entire presentation makes her seem really special.

The main event was magic, what those two did without relying on multiple weapons and working with a legit injury is going to spoken about in the future, this match was unique, special and a modern day classic. Right from Seth revealing his costume to Cody revealing his injury to the short Bull rope match within the cell until the finish, the crowd was heavily invested and whatever had to be told was told perfectly.

Other than these two, Ali vs Theory and judgement day vs Liv, Balor and Styles were quite good as well.

Even Madcap Moss vs Corbin and Lashley vs MVP and Omos surpassed my low expectations, elevated by the crowd who cheered for everything Bobby also this may just be my first Corbin match since 2019 .

Overall this premium live event was a good surprise and much better than we expected it to be.
