There are some neat things about this episode. First of all, we have Titus Welliver (Harry Bosch) as a young man and despicable child molester and murderer. We have Eugene going after him. Then, there's James Whitmore's performance as a forgetful attorney (whose flamboyant career has earned him accolades). He is actually forgetting who his client is at times but is so stubborn. Finally, I too had a bit of a crush on Valerie Perrine, who connects with Jimmy and has a nice moment with him. This was a good episode.
