Review of Shining Girls

There's so much to get excited about here: a strong female protagonist investigating mysterious serial murders of women in Chicago. A series packed with accomplished actors. I was hooked from the start! But by mid season it stopped moving forward. It seems that they took what could have been a pretty decent two hour film and stretched it out into a series. When you set up some intriguing mysteries in episode one, but then you keep repeating them for five or six more episodes, I'm sorry but you have officially lost my interest! I just watched the last episode and honestly could not care less. Super disappointed and completely puzzled that anyone would think this is good. Season two?! No thanks!
