There is some great acting here, particularly from Rhett, the bull riding son and I'll plug Josh Brolin's work here as well but as for the rest, just good acting, save for the daughter, who is young and thus I'll give her a pass. It bothers me that all of the Carhartt gear all appear to be brand new, as well as their hats, boots, etc. In Ep 8, they do show Josh Brolin's character wearing some Wranglers that have some wear on the rear cuff edge crease, where natural wear does occur. My suspicion is that these jeans may actually belong to Josh himself. The location shots are beautiful as I picture a lot of Wyoming to be and the trucks all seem like legitimate ranch trucks. The script is bizarre and not sure exactly how this story came to pass and am a little disappointed at the Autumn Summers role so I'll be generous and give this series a 6/10.
