So, the 1st Revenge Of The Nerds (1st of 4 !) was obviously light-hearted American comedy at its most classic and best (and least feeble; sorry, I'm British !).
This however is your typical mediocre sequel, in a similar vein to the sequels to Croc Dundee or Bill+Ted. They cash in on the humour of the 1st film, making it second-hand and 'old hat', likewise making a predictable pastiche of the original characters and their entics; sure, who ever could have predicted stoner-nerd Booger going on hoiday with a suitcase full of condoms !
The 'nerd' status of the title characters is even more ironic than the 1st film. The jocks are an even bigger bunch of All-American inadequates in denial, hence the one called 'Tiny' (get it?) and the jocks all sharing a very small hot tub (!), and main 'nerd' Lewis gets a genuinely beautiful - and blonde bombshell - girlfriend. (Courtney Thorne-Smith; looked stunning in that white bikini !)
The one part of the film that has genuine quality and class is THE HIP-HOP NUMBER ! A proper Beastie Boys pastiche by all means, but those 'nerds' sure make a catchy, punchy and subversive rap, promoting the termination of 'Act no.15' that makes jock-status athleticism mandatory in the University fraternity guild.
So I'll give this a fair 5/10 for being mediocre and pastiche, but fun enough and with a brilliant hip-hop number !
