Mayday: Episode #1.2 (2013)
Season 1, Episode 2
6/10
Improved, but still a little slow.

The search for Hattie continues, her disappearance has caused several cracks to appear in the relationships of the locals, someone is pushed beyond their breaking point.

It's marginally better than the opening episode, but it's still a case of maximum style, with not a lot of substance. The story is there, and some of the characters are beginning to come to life, but it's still all a little overdone, it's like that opening scene in Midsomer Murders that shows all the main suspects prior to the murder, they're all overdone.

I'm trying hard to figure out who's perspective we're seeing this story from, initially it seems as though it's Linus, it's pretty much being seen from his point of view, we see his relationship with the sister, and his bizarre relationship with his incredibly odd father.

It really isn't how I remember it, I seemed to remember it being quicker paced, I am sure it's going to open up.

6/10.
