The way Ranveer carries his character like a real local boy with his slang and attitude is something that keeps you entertained throughout the film.
The way the head of the village acts & behaves & makes dumb decisions was presented in a very convincing way probably because of the great artist like Boman Irani playing that role.
The way the film talks about the girls' problem in that society was well made and was a bit emotional and the way another village struggles with no ladies because of this female infanticide was also portrayed in a funny way but with a good message for that society and yes the film might probably work only for those people who could connect with that kinda community.
