This movies is a litmus test for misogyny and victim-blaming. If you hated it because you hated and blamed the main protagonist you need help. Professional help. It is an artsy movie with some of the scenes lasting unnecessarily long but the format of the movie supports these kind of scenes without making it pretentious. I really liked the ambiguous ending and I think this movie draws on the larger themes of assault, patriarchy, and victim blaming. Don't trust the reviews with bad ratings since most of them draw upon their own internalised misogyny.
