I get it, it's not faithful to the games, but I feel people didn't even bother to watch. So many bad reviews in the first hour it was released, makes me think people didn't even watch it. Plus the episodes are long, you tell me everybody watched the whole series in a couple of hours?
First of all not a video game fan, I've seen the movies and big fan of those, I understand people weren't fan of those but calling this show unwatchable is a big stretch.
I fished the first 3 episodes and they aren't bad, I get the cliche teenager, Cape Town issue but it's interesting. It keeps the viewer entertained, I personally want to know more. Maybe fans expected more from Netflix, but as we have seen Netflix has derailed from their original content at lot.
It's not the best show in the world but it's not the worst to have this type of reviews. The acting on the first episode from the girls was a bit cringy but it gets better. The acting is not that bad, CG is okay, plot is okay. As I said not the worst show in the world, I'm always glad to have something new to watch in providers I pay for. If you're bored and got nothing to watch, this is it.
