Once upon a time, there was a phase in Bollywood when these social commentaries were the 'darlings' of the town, the most talked about! Having achieved consecutive success the producers started treating them as nothing but money-minting recipes. As a result, not only did creativity take a backseat, the authors too lost their hunger for giving rise to an authentic revolution in our society.
