You either love or hate it

This indie, low-budget movie looks pretty indie and low budget. It takes place exclusively in a coffee shop, and with the exception of Jennifer Love Hewitt, no one in the cast has any energy. I always tend to watch Jennifer's movies, but this isn't really one I'd recommend. She looks absolutely beautiful, and the premise of her friendship with her coworker Daniel Eric Gold is funny, but the rest of the movie isn't really worth it. He has a big crush on her, but she's completely oblivious.

There are patrons who come and go, and other coworkers who have their own little personalities, but then there's a huge dramatic shift in the film that tries to make a point: we don't know how short life really is until mortality is shoved in our face. All the frivolities of the first part of the movie seem really silly, and the audience can be split into two camps. Either you think the film's message is really philosophical, or you think you wasted your time. I'd much rather watch If Only or The Truth About Love if I want my Jennifer fix.
