A Question of Memory
18 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The title of episode one clues us into the unfolding drama that has much to do with memory. Commander James Reece believes he has a clear impression of his disastrous SEALS mission in Syria. But he comes to suspect that his memory may be faulty due to a severe concussion.

While the early part of episode was a slow burn in the dimly-lit tunnels where Reece lost all but one of his team, the action picks up with the death of Boozer, which Reece believes was murder, not suicide. Then, Reece himself is ambushed in the most unlikely of places: an imaging center where he was in the process of having a brain scan.

A heart-wrenching scene follows with the deaths of Reece's beloved wife Lauren and his daughter Lucy. One of the most intriguing characters is the reporter, Katie Buranek, who has the potential to be an ally of Reece.

It is clear that he and his team were set up in the mission to kill the diabolical Dr. Khahani. But the elaborate set up has now extended to make it appear that Reece murdered his family. How far does the conspiracy reach? Does it even involve the smarmy Secretary of Defense Hartley?
