Blown Away (2019– )
5/10
Very disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
Katherine Gray is one of the "judges" on the show. But she is not judging the efforts of the contestants. On the very first episode of every season, you can hear who her favorite is and who is going to win. Through the competition, she, Nick Uhas and a guest judge evaluate the work by the contestants. If the main objective is creativity, she always has a reason why her favorite is not being creative and why her non-favorite should have been. In one challenge she will shoot down a contestant on a particular discipline, but in the next episode praise her favorite for doing the exact same thing. She will praise another contestants at times, but her favorite always pulls out victorious. She will nit-pick the competitors but not her favorite. It is very blatant and quite frankly ruins the show.

The other Uhas and the guest judges do try to stick up for the other contestants, but Gray's obvious favourite reigns supreme, every time. This is particularly obvious during the first and third seasons.

If you like seeing the art pieces created and the efforts behind them, this is a good show for you.

If you want to see a true competition about glass blowing, I honestly wouldn't bother. Katherine Gray decides prior to episode one being aired.
