Painfully real
30 July 2022
One of the best music documentaries ever made. Even for those who aren't fans of the band, never before has a musical group crumbling under the combination of ego and pressure been so public and revealing. It's like a train wreck that you can't take your eyes off of. Combine this with the album that follows and you have one of the most bizarre train wrecks in the history of the music industry. The fact that the band never broke up and is still kicking is nothing short of a miracle and a triumph. Although this documentary ends on a more open ended note, with their fates uncertain at the time.
