The film opens with a forest fire that Gohan and his friends put out and then quickly gathering the dragon balls in order to restore it. During this time, A group of pirates led by a saiyan warrior named Turtles decide to plant the titular Tree of Might on Earth, which absorbs the planet's energy and produces fruit that gives them a power increase.
Cut to the generic rounding of the heroes to defeat the villain and roll credits. It was predictable and went nowhere fast. I honestly couldn't wait to be done with it if I am being honest. The story had no substance whatsoever, It recycled the second halves of the previous two films where it is just a drawn out, uninteresting fight, ultimately ending with Goku saving the day
And on a side note, Why they had that unnecessary opening with the forest fire when it had nothing to do with the story? Who knows but its there.
