I was somewhat enjoying this limited series, although I find it more than a tad "reality"-manipulated. What is supposedly "spontaneous," can't possibly be, in the world of production.
However, that stuff with conversion therapist Matheson? Just enrages me. The young guy, a former VICTIM, feels that he "owns" the situation, after their reintroduction. Simply not the case. The fact that Matheson greets him, by telling him how handsome he is?? Creepy. And infuriating. Then they show the "happy hug," and all is well. It is fabricated, and inept.
Then jumping to another complaint...they end the episode, implying that the two female subjects of this "news" series, might not get married after all. Pure PABLUM. SO much of the footage feels staged.
