Nurse Sarah Harris (Gillian Zinser) is a single mother to her young daughter Lauren. Someone has kidnapped Lauren and he has a demand. First, she has to take her new patient Gerald (Aidan Devine) captive. As she waits for her next instruction, she finds that Gerald is hiding a secret.
I like the premise. There are some issues with the early pacing. The grandmother is generally a problem. I don't like her budding in. I don't see her getting a confession. She is all kinds of problems. She should have one concern above all else, her granddaughter. As for Sarah, I don't know what she is thinking either but at least, she is going in the right direction until she's not. The last act is all wrong. I don't know why the movie wants these two to have a buddy action thriller. It ruins a pretty interesting premise.
