Helluva Boss (2019– )
10/10
I was hooked the first time I watched the pilot

Helluva Boss was crackling with potential from the first moment I watched it. The humour and style of art with how easily it introduced characters grabbed me immediately. Also how can you not start singing along to the opening tune.

I am now waiting patiently for every single episode that is released for this show. Especially as I am entirely invested into the whole storyline.

This kind of story and quality of work far surpasses much of todays shows that are being put out by bigger companies. So I say long live the independent artists. The new ideas and the fascinating potential for stories should inspire others to follow in Vivziepops footsteps.

What has enraptured me throughout is how it never feels out of place with its quick changes. It's song numbers and shooting between different characters and perspectives.

All whilst building extremely diverse characters and never forgetting to utilise humour, tug at the audiences emotions or leave us with a sense of gratification from what happens.

It is a beautiful thing to find something like this and see it actually grow into a massive and popular series. Better yet is it being accessible via YouTube giving everyone an opportunity to enjoy this over and over again.

It's so good that I would happily purchase a set of the entire series on physical media one day if the series ever comes to a close.
