It is only necessary to connect these two points, and that's it, that's a great solution to morality and the problem of the main antagonist, but the writers go down a tortuous path. They give us Valkyrie, Korg, some Guardians of the Galaxy, but why? These characters are just for fun, so that you can come up with more jokes, but no more, they don't even help the plot in any way. In the final battle, you just had to leave the main protagonist and antagonist alone, because they are already the ideal solution to the problem, but for some reason they put in some helpers, and the solution to all problems is just love. In the finale, the film says love each other, and then everything will be fine, but only we weren't told a word about it before, they didn't give any clues about it, and the problem of the main villain did not appear because of this at all, but the message decided to just go the other way. Sometimes you even get the feeling that the script was written just for the sake of ridiculous jokes. For example, like a scene with naked Thor, which does not change the plot in any way, and if it is cut out, then surprisingly nothing will change.
Summing up, I want to add that I stopped following the MCU after Endgame and it seems like I did the right thing.
