This movie might qualify as your run of the mill low-budget slasher on a good day, but it really didn't do a whole lot for me. The death scenes were lack-luster and cheap (you can see the boards through their clothes and there is hardly any blood), and the pace was way too slow but the deal killer for me was the undo drama about these kids and their trials and tribulations with trying to get into the Olympics. Such subject matter is of no interest to me, nor should it be to any true fan of grade Z junk, and they might as well have been training for a Gregorian chant competition or a stamp collecting convention for all I cared. They wasted way too much time on this. Aside from that, the whole plot makes no sense. So, the tranny is gonna get into the Olympics by killing everyone even though he is too old and not even an athlete? And why would he have the newspaper from his sex change sitting in his office even though it was incriminating and happened years ago? And parents aren't outraged that all these kids have disappeared from the same program and are unable to be found by the authorities? I've let dumber stuff than this slide, but this film is so painfully slow and boring it just got on my nerves. It picks up a little (and I mean a little) at the end, but it is too little too late. Worth seeing once if you're a slasher fan, but it's basically a stinker.
