Giving this review early September as it's the time of year schools and colleges are reopening.

I don't find this episode of Mr. Bean as any of my favourites doesn't beat one his at the swimming pool, the hotel one or next episode he's at a launderette and crazy golf. I don't like how he annoys people, even the man in corridor or the calligrapher.

I can't believe I didn't recognise David Schneider as the judo instructor first time seen this episode. At least, I like science laboratory chemical explosion scene.

Ending with Mr Bean Mini is crushed and mangled by the army tank was one tear-jerking scene even if see the look on his face or it's the ending credits music composed by Howard Goodall - bit like some episodes of The Simpsons. After the credits, he's pleased his padlock is intact and unharmed (like only reason he was worried).

Just when some thought Mr. Bean lost his car (flashback of this episode and wreckage of his destroyed Mini were in special Mr. Bean in his attic) and then he's got it back later in series - in next two episodes "Good Night, Mr. Bean" when he's driving to the hospital.

It may be hard to believe my assumption of Mr Bean's Mini destroyed as comeuppance for his mischief at the school.

Some references made in Animated Series of Mr. Bean from this - like Mr Bean is some teacher and does chemistry. The Van de Graff generator was used in Gadget Kid episode.
