Review of Battlestar Galactica

I quite like the 1970's series and film but this re-tread is just that a sad repeat without the magic and acting abilities of the original. I gave up on the film (pilot?) as the acting was so bad and there is just no new story it is just a poor less well made and acted version of the originl. NOt worth thee ffort to watch.

I just do not understand why they bothered except as a cheap money grab. The use of cylon as humas hugely diminished the old story and presumably allows some sex scenes and reduces costs somewhat.
