Beat is an incredible film that tells an extremely intriguing story filled with an extraordinary music score, meaningful characters, beautiful scenes and unexpected twists! It is well written, characters are well acted, every scene is intelligently shot and directed! I highly recommend taking the time to watch this film and let it take you on a roller coaster of emotion as it tackles the very real world of homelessness, substance abuse and working in the live music industry.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this film, without getting into spoilers, it left me feeling surprised, empathetic, moved and satisfied that made me want to watch the film again with the additional knowledge of my first viewing, being even more enthralled the second time around and blown away yet again.
