. . . employers are always absent when the malingering fat cat Tom and his rodent buddy Jerry the Mouse are destroying the home of the people paying the mortgage, paying the electricity, paying the water bill, stocking the refrigerator during countless shopping trips, providing the soon-to-be-destroyed home furnishings and obviously not investing any resources for state-of-the-art home security? As MICE FOLLIES unfolds, a pair of rodent vermin wage a war of total destruction against the roof over their heads, flooding an entire domicile until it's in obvious tear-down condition. Then Jerry pulls a stunt with ice which would lead to novelist Kurt Vonnegut's discovery of Ice-nine for his 1963 thesis Cat's Cradle. The latter development is about the only good thing to come out of MICE FOLLIES.
