Judge John Deed: Lost and Found (2005)
Season 4, Episode 1
8/10
Law and Order or Order and Law
28 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Sure, much of Judge John Deed is unrealistic, but it does deal with important issues of corruption and going up against the establishment.

Here we deal with police informants, innocence or guilt, rehabilitation, police pensions, plastic bags to coerce confessions, and some pop culture references.

We see a food van that serves hot dogs, chips, rolls sandwiches, coffee and cold drinks.

We see a Harry Potter backpack and we learn Judge Deed was terrified by The Wizard of Oz as a kid.

Some of the scenes are filmed in Carey Street WC2.

Two episodes ago Judge John Deed did the deed with his therapist Rachel Crawchek (played by Amita "This Life" Dhiri). Yes, Judge Deed succumbed to his lust for Rachel, which reminded me of the lead singer of a massively huge British rock band who had an affair with his therapist. It's a shame Rachel didn't become a regular character to keep Judge John Deed on track.
