This is your typical FX show in that the show starts great with a promising first season, peaks in the second season, stalls in the third season and starts going downhill starting fourth season and completely fails in the last season. Since this pretty much happens with every FX show ever, there are no surprises with this one either.
I'd recommend that you watch the first 2 seasons and first half of the third season and then move on before you get hugely disappointed as the show starts jumping one shark after another starting fourth season. At one point they jump so many sharks that you will lose count of it.
I rate the first two seasons 8.5/10, third season 7/10, fourth and fifth seasons 2/10.
