This is one of my top ten favorite books. I've read and listened to it many, many times. I was willing to say this would be ok as a separate movie, but it's just done so badly. Chris Lowell was so awful as Christian Lemon. There were so many little details that could have been left in that were instead changed and just jettisoned into the last five minutes of the exorcism scene.
The only part I liked was they left out that one scene.
The movie should have been a cross between the craft and a Judy Blume book. Instead it was just a fast tracked Heather's wannabe.
Should have been a series. Please do better Grady with your books when they're made into movies!
