GOODBYE,generally speaking, is a good movie but with a very unrealistic ending. I guess the filmmaker had her eye on the box office so therefore a happy ending.
The film depicts very correctly the unloving,uncaring,unsupportive,selfish,arrogant,and rude behaviour of today's generation when it comes to caring for their aging parents even they have passed away.
The movie especially in the first half was very funny. However in the 2nd half,it lost its zest and finally was about 20 minutes too long. It could have been edited a bit better.
Everyone's performance was very good especially Amitabh and his daughter(in the movie).
However this good movie was tarnished with an extremely unrealistic ending which diluted the quality of the movie.
