Stan and Jack are tasked with looking after the local kids, who are having a day out from school, the family agree to help and do the sandwiches.
It's a really bawdy episode, it funny, it's something different. It's an episode that took me right back to my childhood, I can remember raucous days out, with dodgy sandwiches, cheap squash and broken down buses.
Lots of laughs from start to finish, from Blakey's horrible nephew, to Olive feeling unwell, but the highlight of course was Stan's drag act, an interesting way to entertain the kids, but hilarious, and it has to be said, it's a moment that shows off Varney's undoubted skills and talents, shown off incredibly well here.
