One thing is certain, much better when in an episode we see characters like Carol, Negan and Daryl, everything is different and in this episode the most interesting thing was the plot of Carol, Daryl and Lance (a character that they shouldn't killed so soon, big mistake).
The plot of Eugene and Yumiko isn't that interesting although the actress is excellent.
About the new variant of walkers, nothing is happen about that (another missed opportunity). The writers keep telling us the stories like this was an usual season, slow plots, eternal cliffhangers (Virgil, Luke, Jules, Ocenside).
The worst thing is that they have only killed the bad guys this season, all the Reapers, Sebastian, Lance, secondary characters like Alden and Marco that I personally didn't care about, it seems that the writers are saving everything for last, the big explosion you know the shocking moment but nothing surprise you (WINTER IS COMING) and without a doubt one or two characters will die, I hope it makes sense, because if this was episode 20 and nothing really happened, not even the CRM, the end will be a bitter pill of pure disappointment, maybe in the end we will conclude that the story of the reapers was wasteful, the commonwealth arc is weak, and of course, if this is the episode and nothing really interesting happens, I doubt that the writers will give us a satisfying ending.
