This is a great series, I remember watching it the first time round and again more recently. The stories are very well told and interesting, they cover all of the series killers you would expect such as Myra Hindley, Beverly Allitt and Rose West and maybe some you may not have heard of, such as Mary Ann Cotton and Elizabeth Báthory.
If I have one complaint it is Martina Cole herself, she is a fantastic writers, I've read her books and several TV series based on them but that doesn't make for a great TV presenter. She lack any charm or personality when doing her part and come across wooden and uninterested but this is balanced out by the experts who are knowledgeable and enthused about the subjects.
