I she a killer and just forgetting what she has done, we all know that she didn't do the murders but is she telling the whole truth. This is a well played mystery kind of like The Lady Vanishes. Mala Powers plays Sharon Carlin, secretary boarding a train with a package for her boss in California. On board the train she is threatened by a man with a gun, she sees a dead body and is knocked unconscious. When she awakes she is accused of murder, she escapes and is almost run over by Paul Colbert (Jacques Bergerac). He drives her home and invites her for coffee, when she returns to her apartment she finds the dead body of a friend. When she goes to see her boss, we find out that she has escaped from a mental institute. Has she dreamed all this, of course she hasn't. It's a all acunning plan by her boss to set her up for the murder of his wife. Colbert finds out the plan phones the police and thwarts the villains.
