Walker: Independence (2022–2023)
Too early, too harsh

Warning: Spoilers
Only watched 2min of this so this absolutely isn't an accurate depiction so you might as well stop reading here... but I detested it. It starts off with what I would call 'steamy hot PG13 sex', followed by a pillow talk that you've probably heard before and mid-conversation the lady gets up and slowly walks over to play the piano with a lamp lit and night sky in the background and that's when I shut it off. It was all just ostentatiously dramatic lol. Now I know, I haven't watched enough to know it's a bad show or first impression is justified but I have several series and movies lined up to watch and this just doesn't seem promising. It probably has a lot of fans watching from the original show. I might come back to it later 'cause I don't usually shut down series that impulsively even if I'm not optimistic so don't take my word to heart. I just thought it was funny how quickly I went "nope".

Side note: It actually took me a long time to find out what the formal term is in English but I sucked my teeth, specifically called "Le Tchip" and I thought it was amusing how google said it's associated with Africans 'cause we do do that a lot. Thought everyone did. Anyway, I hope you didn't read this far lol nothing that informative on the show.
