The Patient has been a fun and wild ride for the last two months on Hulu. It has been appointment TV for me every Tuesday morning and I did not fall behind like I did for a lot of shows out there.
But the ending did leave me a little bit underwhelmed. I guess we should have known it would have ended with a death, but we did not even get to see a real fight sequence between Alan and Sam. Even if Steve Carell wasn't up for it, you could have done something more physical than we got here.
Not a bad finale by any means, but I am just not sure what the right ending was. This didn't feel like it though.
